We are not definied by our failures.

No matter how hard I have tried or wished to, I can’t seem to out-run the ghosts of my past. Sometimes it appears I have gained distance on them, I have left them behind in the forgotten shadows. But they were never gone. They were lurking behind always.

Then at times when u are the most vulnerable and most unexpecting, they catch up to you and grab hold of you. They drag you with all the unstoppable forces of regret and choices made.

What do i do now? Do i get dragged into the abyss? Continue to fight and crawl?
